In-Home Display Discounts in Victoria

An in-home display (IHD) is like a real-time dashboard for your household’s power use. Instead of waiting for a quarterly shock on your electricity bill, you see the flow of energy as it happens. Every appliance, every light switch, every watt. This visibility makes it easier to make changes in your habitual use, cut waste and running costs without adjusting when you really need to use an appliance.

Through the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program, you can access one free product per home. We install products from trusted brands, such as the Emerald Electricity Advisor, which connects directly to your in-home smart electricity meter and sends data directly to your phone or chosen device, tracking and reporting your real-time electricity usage

IHD Installation Process

1. Eligibility & System Match

We verify your property’s eligibility under the VEU scheme, then recommend an IHD model from the approved register. Each unit is checked to ensure it integrates with your meter type, Wi-Fi bandwidth, and home electrical layout.

2. Pre-Install Energy Audit

Before fitting the unit, our team conducts a quick audit to confirm smart meter connectivity, ensure stable signal coverage, and map the location where the monitor will deliver the most accurate readings.

3. Accredited Installation & Compliance

The monitor is installed to manufacturer standards, synced to your meter, and calibrated using certified testing equipment. Once operational, you’ll receive compliance documents for both the VEU rebate claim and your device warranty.
